In the aftermath of Gorkha earthquake 2015, Nepal has faced an unparalleled loss of a huge proportion of its valuable heritage sites on top of already degrading state of several documented and undocumented monuments of national and international interest. Together with the heritage experts, engineers and documentarians, SONEUK is in the process of accomplishing a Kathmandu valley-wide documentation project for unlisted heritage sites in order to facilitate further preservation and conservation works.
